Q. What is Guest Tree's mission?

Q. Can I customize the font type on my fingerprint guest book?
A. You absolutely can.  

Q. Can I customize the font color on my fingerprint guest book?
A. Yes you can.

 

Q. I would like to purchase a fingerprint guest book listed in your wedding category for a birthday party.  Can I customize your fingerprint guest books like that?
A. You definitely can!  We will edit any of our fingerprint guest books to make it fit your occasion.  Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns.

 

Q. When I buy a fingerprint guest book, what is included?
A. You'll receive a fingerprint guest book in the size of your choice along with a 5"x7" instruction card.  Ink pads, pens, and other accessories are sold separately.  We do not include or sell frames, but they can be purchased at your local department store.

Q. Other places charge extra for proofs, do you?
A. Our pricing includes up to 5 proofs with revisions. We want your fingerprint guest book to look just the way you envisioned it so that you are 100% satisfied with the final product. Any event is a special day and your happiness should take precedence.  

Q. What will happen when I place an order?
A. After your order is placed, we will create a proof for you and send it via e-mail. Once you approve your proof, we will do one of two things. If you chose the digital artwork option, we will then email you the digital artwork so you can print it yourself. If you purchased the printed product, we will have your order printed and shipped within 3 business days of the proof approval. Please keep in mind that shipping times are in addition to the 3-day turnaround for printing.
 

 

Q. Is there anything I should be aware of if I order a fingerprint guest book for teacher appreciation?
A. Yes, please note that you will probably need to get parents permission if you are fingerprinting children for the guest book without parents being there for their consent.  
 

 

Q. What type of paper are your fingerprint guest books printed on?
A. Our 8x10 and 11x14 guest books are printed on 80# paper, and our 18x24 and 24x36 are printed on 170gsm.

 

Shipping/Handling:


Q. How long will it take for Guest Tree to ship my order?
A. We have a majority of our fingerprint guest books ready to be shipped within 3 - 4 business days. At times, it can take up to 7 business days before shipping, but this is rare. Our other items are ready to ship within 1 - 3 business days.

Q. How long will it take for me to receive my package from the time you send it?
A. We ship our packages via the United States Postal Service with two choices for shipping; Priority Mail (2 - 3 day delivery) and Express Mail (Overnight to most locations).

Q. What are the shipping costs?
A. Guest Tree shipping rates are fixed. You can choose between USPS Priority Mail which costs a flat rate of $12 or you can choose USPS Express Mail which costs a flat rate of $30. If the package is shipped to Alaska or Hawaii, there is an additional $5 charge.

Q. Do you ship international?
A. The short answer is yes. Unfortunately, our website is not equipped to place international orders. The only way we can ship internationally is to invoice buyers via Paypal. If you are outside the United States and are interested in placing an order, please contact us and we can make arrangements. Keep in mind that shipping time can be elongated by as much as 2 weeks or more.

Q. What is your privacy policy?
A. Guest Tree will never sell or transmit  personal information to any third party.
All payment transactions use premium SSL technology (notice the green address bar when checking out) and are absolutely secure.
We do not store credit card information on our website or database.

Q. What is your return policy?
All custom made items including digital versions are non-refundable. If your package was delivered damaged, please contact us and we will give you instructions on exchanging. Damaged or defective items must be returned within 14 days for exchange. Shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

Q. Can I use your fingerprint guest book images on my website?
A. You cannot use any of our images without our permission. We would be more than happy to give you permission, so please contact us!

Payment:

Q. What forms of payment do you accept?
A. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and Paypal.

Q. Do you charge sales tax?
A. We charge 8% sales tax for items shipped to a New York State destination.
